I've marveled at kangaroos since I was very young. From the neck up, they looked to me like a deer or some kind of dog. But the rest of the body was unique! Their spring-like legs made locomotion quick, and those same legs were used when fighting, as the animal leaned back on its big tail to kick with both feet. The startling and frankly intimidating musculature of some males impressed me greatly. It still does.
The original is graphite on 7"x11" Bristol board. As with all my pieces, prints of this one can be made for you in a wide variety of sizes, retaining a crisp resolution of the image!
